Writing has been a double edged sword for many many years. I love to write, and when it comes to scripts and novels I appear to be half way decent at it. The problem is that neither pay me yet. So, I have to work a real job in the mean time.

I also like to share things I know about to those that may not know, and so I have promised to revamp and restart my tutorial sections. Focusing on Flash tutorials as well as Web coding tutorials. But alas, it has proven to be a cumbersome and time consuming process. One that I am happy to do, but no longer will I make time constraint promises. I am only one person after all (at least the last time I checked).

So, where am I at? Why don't I have tutorials posted? Just what the hell is going on?, well let me tell you all about it...

I have begun this site again and again and again. After last month I even started it all over again one more time. You probably didn't notice anything. That's good though, means I was careful. You may have noticed that the Magic 6 has transformed into a Magic 4. You may have also realized the 2 new sections and done the math, arriving at the conclusion that the Magic 6 was/is a countdown of sorts. You would be correct.

So, aside from this site, I am also running my main Riddle site Clever Waste of Time and that is near completion as well. 1000 levels of pure frustration and enjoyment. (all with no ads, pop ups, or payments! yay) My non-profit gaming site has just been purchased for two more years and I am almost ready to unleash the final main trail level (Roman Level C) and with that, bringing the Riddle Trail to an end. A few remodels and a few more levels added in certain places and the site will be complete. If you haven't started the trail, I suggest you start now. It can be highly addictive and frustrating though, but in a good way.

As for this site, I have also purchased it for two more years and with the completion of that transaction I am ready to go full gear into making it complete as well. This means the following need to happen: Flash and Menu for the main page to replace the Magic Numbers. I need to create, write and publish the tutorials and set up the proper download section. I also need to create the Flash area and finish the Games I have planned. I am setting up a special area for like minded persons to get together and trade services (not a dating site, keep up!). Now with all of that the site will be running and full steam ahead at that. New tutorials will be a regular as well as new Flash and other little tidbits. But I have to do all of this stuff.

I have to do it all by hand as well. The Flash for the main page itself is at a minimum a 40 hour project. And that's the easy one. The games are easily well over 50,000 man hours. A couple of them in to the 100's of thousands. The tutorials need to be vivid, expansive and error free. They are tutorials and follow-a-long's after all, and they can end up being pretty in depth. This also takes more time. As for the services barter area, that will be a nice addition to the site, but it will need to be presented correctly as well, and I have yet to find a layout design that will make it work as it needs too. But I am trying. And then there is the Flash section. What can I say about the Flash section? Not a whole lot it turns out. I toil away all night, sometimes until it is time to wake up and my alarm goes off. Realizing I have had another night of no sleep, I get ready for work.

Lastly there is my writing. A hobby yes, but hopefully one day a paying hobby that will allow me to be home and not have to worry about setting an alarm. Currently I am writing a novel that has been in my head for over 10 years. A good read, if I may be so bold, but once again, taking time to type each word adds up. With the 24 hours in each day, I use about 23 of them working on all this stuff, and we haven't even talked about sleep, food, paying work, and my fiance.

You all have been more than patient with the site and the daily visitor numbers continue to grow. I do notice and I am working. Just give me a bit longer. I am sure the wait will be worth it.
