With a 1 hour 41 minute red flag, the fastest sport on land comes to a screeching halt. Not a ton happened during the race that claimed to be "back to what racing is supposed to be". Well, the wrecks weren't great, and the larger restrictor plate only added about 2 MPH over all. There were some thing we didn't expect, some things we did expect and few surprises.

Follow up:

Jamie McMurray won the race, Junior finished 2nd and Greg Biffle rounded out the top 3. The new Ford F9 engine looks to be a romp this year. Now to just keep the fenders on it and Roush Racing will be there in the end. Unless of course NASCAR Officials deem we should have a maximum of 9 Green-White-Checkered finishes. Yes, I fully realize Biffle (my favorite driver) would have won the race (twice) if not for the new rule to have a maximum of 3 G-W-C finish attempts. But, Good for Jamie Mac and Junior for having a little more grip on their tires to end the 506 mile 500. *sigh*

In other news, a new job for yours truly has left me little time to make any serious updates to the site. The main page Flash as well as tutorial section are still the top priorities for the site, and on the Flash Games side, Dodeca Clash is still in production. Although it has slowed it has not stopped and I expect to be Alpha testing in a month or two. (fingers crossed). That's really all the updates I have. Keeping an eye on the Olympics, NASCAR, Hockey and of course, my computer. Until next time...
